A Salon

Located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, we specialize in cuts, color, and a variety of special services ranging from blow-outs and up-dos to keratin treatments.

An exhibit

Historically, a salon was a place for likeminded people to discuss art, literature and other creative pursuits. We're proud to feature a rotating gallery of different artists.

 A Destination

We support our community through events that directly benefit local businesses, charities, and artists. Come join us and become part of what we do.

Our Featured Artist

                                                                                                Nash Hogan

Georgia native Nash Hogan has always had a fascination with cities. The character of one city or neighborhood to the next becomes apparent through architecture, signage and urban planning. “I work from photos that I take while wandering. From multiple 4x6 inch snapshots, I layer and intersect multiple viewpoints of a single area to recreate a time and place. The resulting paintings become subtle abstractions of a place while remaining recognizable.

Our Last Artist

                                    Anne Spurgeon

Trophies and Wild Women

Anne Spurgeon is an interdisciplinary, Brooklyn-based artist born in Columbus, Ohio. Questions about transformation reoccur in her creative practice. Her involvement began through performance, from playing guitar on stage, to creating private video performances about identity and the sense of the public and private self. In the past five years her focus has moved away from the personal consciousness of the body, to the transformation of sculptural materials. This exhibition includes a range of selected pieces from three self-defined series called “Wild Women”, “Banners”, and “Trophies.

Our next artist

                                           Isadora Kagan

Isadora is a Brooklyn-based artist who grew up in the suburbs of Boston, eating tofu and tap dancing. Her body is in the city, her mind is in the desert, and her heart is at the beach. "I am curious about the line between abstraction and realism. I study outer space because believing in the expanding universe helps me to understand my own context and I will try anything to touch that feeling of being a dust particle in the wind."
