What is your form of artistic expression?
When I'm not at exhibit answering your calls, booking your appointments and answering your questions, I am a freelance production makeup artist. I work mainly in film and television and occasionally do commercials and music videos. I started doing makeup when I was a wee tiny child. I would put makeup on literally anyone who would let me. As I grew into my teen years I was constantly trying new looks on myself and playing with all types of different products. As an adult I realized this was a thing I could do and get paid for ! So I left Cleveland, where I was born and raised for 26 years and moved to Fort Lauderdale to attend makeup school. After 2 years of sunny living I gave it all up to move, totally alone, to New York City. I have been here for 5 years and have been lucky enough to make incredible connections and work on amazing productions. I am patiently awaiting the day that I get hired on SNL and all of my dreams come true!! Because we're all just following our dreams, right?
If you could do make-up for any famous person, living or dead, whom would it be?
It would have to be Janis Joplin. I just want to have her in my chair and talk to her for like an hour!!!
Who is your personal style icon?
A weird mix of Debbie Harry, Lindsay Lohan and Parker Posey. Idk, it makes sense in my head.
If you could go back in time and live in any time period, in which period would you choose to live?
I would love to have been in my 20s in the 70s. The glamour was so lux and over the top and I'm really into that!! Although, I could have easily been a free love hippy too. It's probably best I didn't live then, who knows where I would be today if I did....
If you we an alcoholic beverage what would you be?
I would definitely be a rose' spritzer! They're just so fun and refreshing and everyone loves them!
If you could bring one album with you to a desert island, which would you bring?
Pink Floyd, The Wall
