Jason Jones is a dear friend of Tori Wiget, one of our stylists. Jason is a 33 year old Sheriff's Deputy in Santa Clara, CA, and is a wonderful father, husband and friend. On October 30th, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His doctors sent him to Stanford in Palo Alto, CA to start immediate, aggressive treatment of his cancer with a 7-day induction of chemotherapy. He will eventually need a bone marrow transplant. Even though he has health insurance, it will not cover all of his treatment. Of course, he is also unable to work to provide for his wife, Rebekah, and their 1 year old son, Silas. There is a FUNDRAZR.COM page for him and the goal is to raise $30,000 to help pay for his treatment and for other expenses the family incurs.

This type of charity is not something that Exhibit Salon would typically donate to, but due to the incredible circumstances of this case, the salon will be donating all the proceeds from the upcoming Charity Day to help reach that goal.

A direct link to the FUNDRAZR page is below with further details and with some words from Jason's loved ones:

There has also been a Facebook group started so that donors can see updates about Jason's treatment and send well-wishes directly to him. It is an open group and anyone who is interested in following his progress can join:

Thank you, book an appointment on December 8th to help out!
